About Us, Bonsall Pool & Spas

The Bonsall family built their first pool in 1951 in Grand Island, Nebraska. The company grew rapidly and built many residential, commercial and municipal pools throughout Nebraska. In 1979 the current showroom and office opened at 33rd & Highway 2 in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Kenneth Bonsall was the company president. He was a graduate of Civil Engineering at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. He was also a registered professional engineer in the state of Nebraska. He had a great deal of expertise in the design and construction of many types of residential and commercial swimming pools and hot tubs. Sadly, Ken passed away in 2016, leaving the business in the very capable hands of his son Jeff Bonsall.

Our Staff and Experience

The staff of Bonsall Pool & Spa includes over 10 full time pool and spa professionals. Currently, we have one of the most experienced groups of pool & spa professionals in the entire country. Several of Bonsall Pool & Spa employees have over 20 years of experience in the pool and spa industry. The experts at Bonsall Pool & Spa travel all over the country to attend the latest industry technical training seminars available. All of this ensures that you will get the very best advice, service, and products available. Also, we ensure that you, and your family, will be able to enjoy and relax in your Bonsall-built pool or hot tub for many years to come.

We have a large staff of highly trained and very experienced service technicians to quickly handle all of your pool and spa service needs. Our work has received the United Aqua Group Awards of Distinction, been showcased in Architects Tour of Homes and featured in Aqua Magazine. We have two (2) APSP CST Certified service technicians, a Hot Spring Portable Spa Certified Technician (Grade A), four (4) Automatic Pool Cover Certified Technicians, and an NSPF Pool Spa Operator Certification (CPO).
